i`m aching everywhere
did some physical conditioning yesterday and after not exercising for so long, the aches are here
i think i put on 10 kg or something >.<

exams are always fattening-up periods

cos when the start is here, the end is approaching too =)
thinking of our year-end vacation =DD
china or taiwan
there`s still the fear of H1N1 in china
and mum is having second thoughts about taiwan as an alternative because we`ve been there before
so we`ll see
and also, gotta see if dad is able to take leave during that period
hope we`ll go to china
then we`ll have a white christmas again !!

i just found out something totally unexpected
that is, the most annoying guy in class is actually related to me
dammit! really!
the whole story goes like this :
my parents went to my mom`s cousin`s father`s funeral [in other words, her uncle]
so they were talking to the cousin and all and they talked about their kids
and it so happened his son is in AJ and also studies bio
so when that son came, he was like yeah! she`s my classmate!
and the next day in school, he shook hands with me and said "cousins!"
and when i helped him pick up a handout, he`d go "thank you cousin!"
really gets on my nerves
yeah, so our grandfathers are brothers
i believe in destiny and fate and all but he`s the last person i want to be fated to know each other, much less being related dammit!
not that it actually matters much since i won`t meet up with his family and stuffs
whatever

skipped school today and on tues
hahaha

oh yea, i`m living in the new house now!
been less than a week
we moved last saturday but my parents didn`t let us help out
so we camped in mac`s the whole day to study
but we were chased out in the afternoon cos the was a party reservation
so we went to the library and went back to mac`s towards the evening cos bro wanted to eat cheeseburger
lol
and i reminded my mom countless times to remember to bring my hamster over and in the end, she kind of forgot
we only brought the hamster over after dinner when we went back for the last time to collect some stuffs
the poor hamster has been starving the whole day
but really, i don`t sympathise with it
never felt any great love for it actually
=)



prelims just ended for me today
pity the goeg and mother tongue and whatsoever subject students who still have a paper tomorrow =)
anyway, the girls weren`t free so we didn`t go out after the paper
got glued to the pokemon game in my phone for like 2 hours
packed my and siblings` stuff after that
we`re moving soon!
came across many letters given to me by seniors and friends and also birthday letters from my siblings
saw the letters amanda gave me, 1 for each year
the most glaring things she mentioned was that even if we`re not able to run together for taf when we`re 17, she hopes that the friendship will lasts forever and that she finds it disturbing that she enjoys running in taf cos i`m forced to go down for recess
yeah
we might not be running together but we`re still running for the damned taf i guess
all these memories will be kept close to my heart
i don`t want to forget them so i`m keeping all these precious letters
oh, i find it hilarious that my siblings treated me as their idol in the past
now they feel like they are losers to have felt that way :p
lol


A levels are approaching in 49 days !!

the damned torture is finally gonna be over
i wish and pray fervently to all the gods and deities out there to reserve a place for me in NUS
while i wish to go overseas, im not gonna wipe out my parents` savings doing that
anyway, i think it takes a lot of courage to go overseas so i guess it`s better to stay pampered and protected in s`pore

happy birthday to me!
now i can drink, drive, smoke and watch M18 movies in the cinema
lol
not that i will drink or smoke though
but movies and driving? definitely!
i think the best birthday present was re-connecting with some old friends
met a 4/1 classmate on the train yesterday and had a great time catching up with him the whole journey home
ting also wished me a bashful birthday
i thought she`d long forgotten me
and amanda too! =DD
and some others =)


went out with the girls after school yesterday to celebrate my birthday
but we were all rather penniless already since it was the end of the week
so we only settled for mos burger
window-shopped around after that, looking at clothes that girls my age are supposed to wear but not me >.<
i kind of feel like i`m still wearing kid clothes
just simple shirts and shorts
no frills, no dressing up or paying more attention to what i wear
seriously, i should go shopping with sara after 'A's and make her choose clothes for me
and i received an extremely unique birthday present from them
something wich i never in my life thought i`ll receive
something that`s alive which needs my tender loving care - a FREAKING HAMSTER !!!
i mean, yeah, they`re adorable and all
i think i`ll love looking at them in the pet store but keeping them is a different matter altogether
look, i killed the 2 hamsters i had years ago cos i neglected them
so now, i promised them i`ll keep it alive for at least a year


a year older, a year wiser? perhaps
i doubt i changed much, maybe i have grown just in the most subtle ways
once again, happy birthday to me !!

had a horrible sunday night
a string of nightmares invaded my sleep and i woke up with my heart beating crazily an hour before the time i was supposed to get up
and i felt like i didn`t sleep the entire night

ah
lots and lots of things to do !!
we`re in the heat of THINGS !!
and the bio teacher kindly reminded us that we are 6 more weeks to prelims and twice that to As!
it suddenly seems so close

watched harry potter and the half-blood prince on saturday with some 8 people
i would say the climax was too short and the events leading to the climax were too slow moving
and the ending sucks. really.
it seemed abrupt and it obviously wants you to watch the last film
the bio teacher asked who watched it over the weekend so we raised our hands very enthusiastically, thinking she had interesting stuffs to tell us about it
then she snapped, how dare we watch the show and not do her prelim papers!
of course, we burst out laughing at that
lol

it`s racial harmony day today and it`s one of the best i`ve ever had
it wasn`t lame performances or powerpoint presentations on the various cultures
the school showed us oprah winfrey`s talk show on racism and a couple of scenes from the movie Crash
god knows when that came out but apparently it`s a very powerful movie that addresses this topic
so the video was on oprah interviewing the cast of Crash
and it was really disturbing how racism is still prevalent in america today and people do not bother to embrace people outside their race
frankly speaking, the idea of being tolerant itself should not be accepted
people should embrace one another instead of simply tolerating because when you tolerate, it means you still harbour racist views towards others
so yeah
a good way of commemorating racial harmony

right, i`m going back to my extremely tiring routine of mugging



hmm, the last post sounded really depressing
i`m feeling less sad now after the long weekend even though i`m constantly worrying
there`d be this nagging feeling at the back of my mind and everytime i think of it, my heart would palpitate
but i`ll treat this as a mere obstacle and continue working hard
i`m not gonna give up
so there!
i`m not gonna wallow in misery anymore
x)

school was fine today
it`s gonna be weeks before the next long weekend - that is - national day holiday
seriously, we just need to survive
